Everything You Believe Is A Lie

I woke up this morning wanting to write something.

Not sure what.

But I’ve been slacking on the newsletters recently and its been bugging me. Slacking mostly because I keep overthinking what I’m going to write about and that it always needs to be some super interesting high level topic or else why would anyone want to read it, right?

Well who knows, maybe we will find out today: I’m gonna have to quote myself on a tweet I wrote the other day (are they still called that since they Elon pulled a shitty rebrand?) and say:

Fuck em (yes you fuck you)

I’m just gonna let this one ride, and write, and we will see where it goes because I currently have no clue what’s gonna flow out of these fingers here.

But lets back up to the “fuck you” for second here. I’m not meaning that in some rude way - but maybe trying to perform for others all the time isn’t necessarily the best way to go about the things you create.

Maybe we should be looking internally for inspiration.

Maybe without even trying or thinking about it we all have shit inside of us that can be helpful to others but we just need a way to express it.

I was watching my little man Tommy play with his cousin the other day and just watching how free they were. No fears. No worries about what anyone thinks. They say what they want and feel without a second thought for how it effects anyone else around. It’s their world openly and completely. They are themselves.. immersed fully in the moment. No worry about the future and nothing in the past holding them back.

And it left me with this thought:
